The words keep flowing, and I can’t write fast enough. The song flashes through my mind along with Angelo’s eyes. I can’t forget his eyes, they’re beautiful dark blue, like a sapphire, of fuckingcourse I love all the rest of him. But most of all, I love how he listened to me as if he really cared.

But I’m not naïve, I know what he wanted, and I was happy to give it to him. I’m surprised Angelo asked me so many questions, and he answered a few that gave me a little bit of what makes Angelo tick.

There are two hotties walking around in San Diego.

The throbbing pain in front of my head makes writing hard. Regardless, I’m fucking excited because I didn’t feel like writing in a long time, well, since Dad passed.

But today, I do, and the words are invading my mind. This song is making me sad; it’s a song that’s poignant, full of hopelessness and heartbreak.

Then words of love and hope for another song flash in my mind making it hard to finish one song. They’re running together, and my headache is pounding, making me close my eyes. Maybe I should stop writing for today and take a nap since I didn’t sleep much last night.

But I don’t want to forget these songs, geeze.

The pain is starting to get worse, maybe it’s the fucking drinks, and I have a hangover.

Ah, but it was worth it.

I’ll never regret last night.

The soft knock at my door brings me out of my zone, and I push off the bed to open it.

“Fuck, you could have told us that you were home; we were starting to get worried. I didn’t think you were back since you’re so quiet,” Laura hisses, crossing her arms.

“Well, I’m alive, and I’m home. Besides, you could have texted me, geeze,” I huff, walking back to my bed and rubbing my head.

“Let me get Alexa,” Laura squeaks, walking down the hall to knock on her door.

Thank fuck, this part of the clubhouse is insulated, and the fucking thick steel door keeps the bikers away.

The bitches run into my room, closing the door, and I roll my eyes. Nobody can come in or hear us hello.

“Tell us what happened,” Alexa yells, sitting on one corner of my full-size bed, tucking one leg under her.

Laura sits in the other corner and I’m in the middle at the tufted headboard.

“Fucking hell, tell us,” Laura hisses, leaning on one hand, smirking.

“Well, it was amazing, and I will never regret it,” I say, crossing my arms.

“Fuck, you gotta do better than that,” Alexa huffs, shaking her head.

For some insane reason, my heart flips, a smile turns on my lips, and I inhale, closing my eyes.

Of fuckingcourse, Angelo’s face runs through my mind.

“Hell, she looks like she fucking lost it,” Laura laughs, shoving my leg.

“Okay, yeah, I did it, and it was amazing. The man knows what he’s doing, and it sucks that it was a one-night stand,” I whine, biting my lip.
